In 3 words:

Faithful - Engaging - Hospitable

In a few more words:

Faithful:

Because God is faithful, we are called to be faithful too, which means being reliably kind, truthful and trusting, able to sit patiently in the darkest hours of waiting, and also ready to rejoice in the glory that we meet in people around us.  We are keen to pass on the Christian tradition in a lively way to those who are seeking and to the next generation.

Engaging:

Jesus took an interest in all sorts of people who crossed his path; so we value the neighbours we have been given in the centre of Guildford, supporting and praying for the people and work of the Borough, the police, local charities, the armed forces, the theatre, businesses, schools, nightclubs…. and we have a particular link with the wonderful people in a Diocese near Jo’burg, South Africa.

Hospitable:

Hospitality is enriching for both host and guest; St Mary’s Church is over 1000 years old and is evidently a place of depth, holiness and peace.  Holy Trinity Church is spacious, welcoming and made for celebrations.  We, the congregation, seek to live by these ideals too.
