An Inclusive Parish

We wish to make all welcome. So we have active links with groups pressing the Church to include fully those who have been left out in the past.

Inclusive Church brings together campaigning groups.

It is ‘a network of individuals and organisations whose make-up reflects the breadth and scope of the Church of England and beyond. We come from differing traditions and differing locations but we are united in one aim: To celebrate and maintain the traditional inclusivity and diversity of the Anglican Communion’

WATCH (Women and the Church) campaigns for women bishops, as a symbol that women and men are equal before God.
‘WATCH believes that the full equality of women and men in the Church is part of God's will for his people, and reflects the inclusive heart of the Christian scripture and tradition.’

Changing Attitude is a network of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual members of the Church of England.
‘We welcome as members everyone whose concern is to work for change in the church’s understanding of human sexuality.’
Holy Trinity and St Mary’s are listed as welcoming and open congregations for Changing Attitude.
