Junior Church

Welcome to Holy Trinity Junior Church!

This is a vibrant, fun group for children between the ages of 3 and 9.

We meet regularly every Sunday in term time for 45 minutes during the 10am service to have fun whilst talking and thinking about God.

We start with a song (with instruments!), we tell stories telling in the form of ‘Godly Play’, we do a craft activity and say prayers with drinks and biscuits.

We meet in the Trinity Centre (the building up the steps to the left of the church) at 9.50am and join the main service towards the end of communion so the children can be blessed with the rest of the congregation.

We then all sit together at the front until the end of the service (10 minutes). The children then join their parents and are very welcome to stay for coffee at the back of the church or back in the Trinity Centre.

Various social activities for children and parents happen throughout the year ( the highlight being the Christmas Party) and there is a termly newsletter with session dates and themes.

Parents are very welcome to stay with their children and experience a ‘Junior Church session’ and are even more welcome to join the team of leaders (involves 1 or 2 sessions per term)

Junior church leaders are CRB checked and the church has a policy on child protection – please ask for more information.
