Mothers Union at Holy Trinity and St Marys
Mothers' Union members from Holy Trinity are part of a vibrant group that meets regularly and includes others from St Saviours and Emmanuel, Stoughton. They meet monthly, alternating round the three churches.
One of the aims of the Mothers Union is to support and celebrate family life and yet recognise the tensions and difficulties that our modern society can bring.
Our members are actively involved in projects in local prisons: supporting the Women’s Refuge; fund raising to provide holidays for needy families and making emergency toilet bags for hospital patients.
We also support projects which provide literacy and numeracy programmes overseas as well as other projects which empower women in their communities.
For more information about these projects and further work of the Mothers Union see
www.muguildford.org.uk
The meetings are open to ALL - 7.45pm for 8pm unless otherwise advertised.
