The Upper Room

The Upper Room group meets on the first Tuesday evening of each month upstairs in Jo Clark’s wine bar, (near George Abbot's statue in the Upper High Street) from 8 pm onwards.

It's a social gathering with a discussion often based on a topical theme from the news or a broader issue which presents a challenge to Christian living today.  The group is aimed at 20 to 40 year olds, and enjoys chatting over a glass of wine as well as doing some thinking about some of the big questions in the world.

We also venture outside the wine bar as well – we recently went on pilgrimage to Coventry Cathedral, and are thinking about what to do next!

You are very welcome to drop in any time – there’s no fixed “membership” as such, just come along.
