Cadenza Youth Choir

We are a new youth choir based in Guildford run by young people, for young people. We sing a vast array of music, from sacred to secular and Renaissance to the present day. The choir is made up of an enthusiastic group of teenagers, who all love to sing, and a conductor of their own age - we all have a great time and have become excellent friends! Any teenagers are welcome to join, church-goers or not, and regardless of ability. Upcoming performance include concerts, services and possibly even competitions! Come and join in on Thursdays between 5.50 and 6.50 in the Trinity Centre.

We sang for Choral Evensong at Southwark Cathedral on Saturday 17 September where we were joined by a small group of parishioners who had made a pilgrimage walk in the Southwark area earlier in the day.

An evening covering choral music from Tallis to the King’s Singers, with folk songs of America and the British Isles interspersed throughout.
