Parish trip to South Africa, 1-16th August 2008

18 members of the parish plus one extra are going to the Diocese of the Highveld in August. They are Robert, Hilary, Zoë and Michael Cotton, Marja Geusebroek, Jan Hancock, Toby and Pippa Roberts, Margaret Foulkes, Rachel Bampfylde, Stephen Bampfylde Anne Roberts, Brian Roberts, Vicky Barlow, Alison Ney, Rod and Ann Pierce, Janet Shepherd, Sarah Davis (Janet’s god-daughter)

This group will get together a number of times to prepare ourselves, looking
at:
health and welfare issues,
the South African political context,
what we might expect,
how we can learn and bring our experience back to share with others.
