At present Holy Trinity School has 372 pupils arranged in twelve classes, with a head teacher, nine full-time and eleven part-time teachers.

The School's principal aim is to foster an enthusiasm for learning and life, ensuring each child's full potential is developed within the security of the school family. By focusing on English, Maths and Science the School aims to promote skills, knowledge and understanding in the core curriculum areas while a topic-based approach encompasses all foundation subjects. The lessons are carefully differentiated so that the needs of individual learners are met, and there is also a flourishing Special Needs department to support less able learners and extend those who are exceptionally able. Holy Trinity School encourages high quality in music, drama, art and poetry both during lessons and in performances, plays and concerts. A wide range of competitive and non-competitive activities are undertaken to teach the importance of health, fitness and sportsmanship.

As a Church school, it is hoped that children will gain awareness of the spiritual dimensions of life and the Love of God within the school community. Close links with Holy Trinity Church are maintained by visits from the Parish clergy team and school services held in the Church. The Rector is usually Chair of the Governing Body. As this is an Aided School, the church appoints eight of the Governors which is half of the Governing Body. This ensures that the contacts between the school and the church are very real and lively. Locally the school has a high reputation and is very popular.
