The Highveld HIV Project

The Parish of Holy Trinity and St. Mary’s currently donates money to the Diocese of the Highveld in South Africa in order for the diocese to employ an HIV/AIDS Co-ordinator. The co-ordinator is Lynne Coull and she started work in January 1999. Her work includes organising and running HIV/AIDS education workshops, supporting and facilitating parish HIV/AIDS support groups, counselling HIV workers and sufferers, and visiting hospices and orphanages. The work that Lynne does is immensely useful and much appreciated by the people of the Diocese of the Highveld.

Please pray for her and the people she works with. As part of our continuing relationship with the Diocese of the Highveld a link has recently developed between our Junior Church and a school in Daggefontein township.
