Traidcraft

We run a stall selling fairly traded goods sourced through Traidcraft, the UK's leading fair trade organisation. Traidcraft is a Christian response to poverty, trading directly with producers and distributing their products through ‘Fair Traders’ and supermarkets. Traidcraft also develops producers’ business skills, works on health and education projects and lobbies governments to promote fair trade. The products include biscuits, tea and coffee, confectionery, cards and gifts. We also sell CDs supporting the Highveld project and some cards produced locally. The 10% discount we receive on goods goes to church funds; however the main aim of the stall is to benefit Traidcraft which is one of our supported charities. The stall is open after the 10 o’clock service on Sunday and we are always happy to take orders from the catalogue.
