Holy Trinity is a large imposing church which means eye-catching flower arrangements are quite a challenge for our dedicated and enthusiastic group of volunteers who create them.

A large pedestal arrangement next to the pulpit is changed weekly on a rota basis. At Christmas and Easter we are all involved in creating a colourful and festive atmosphere in the church and during Lent we take a break. At present our group numbers 9 which means a commitment of three or four arrangements a year, plus a team effort at Easter and Christmas. It is a very satisfying and peaceful way to spend an hour or so in such inspiring and restful surroundings. We are always pleased to welcome new members; no experience is necessary just a love of flowers and greenery and a spare hour or two every so often. Flowers are arranged in St Mary’s for the main festivals and like Holy Trinity the small team of arrangers would welcome new helpers.
