Junior Church

Junior Church meets on Sunday morning in the Parish Hall at 10.00 am during term time. The children range in age from 3-9 years (pre-school to school year 4).

The method of teaching we use is “Godly Play”. It is an imaginative approach to working with children. It is an approach that supports, challenges, nourishes and guides their spiritual quest. We present a story using a story box and we encourage the children to “wonder”. The children then choose a craft activity to show their own interpretation of the story. We pray and share a “feast” before joining the congregation for Communion.

Junior Church and Tower Club join at St Mary’s for the monthly Service of Thanks and Praise.
