Christians at Work began out of the recognition that people spend much of their daily lives at work and an informal group of us meet at intervals to explore the issues at the interface of organisations and individuals’ faith. Such issues might include ethics, conflict and compromise and many others arising from members’ own experience at work. Included in this initiative are clergy visits to people’s workplaces. We also hold a special service to honour our working lives where business cards, letterheads etc are taken up with the collection and a relevant sermon is preached. A wider network looking at Spirituality and Business, both within the Diocese and beyond, is also growing.
