WorshipSpace

WorshipSpace is an opportunity to experiment and explore in worship using words, music, movement, symbols and silence. We draw on ideas from Taizé, Iona, the Northumbrian Community, Creation Spirituality and many others. There is a monthly gathering at St Mary’s for an alternative liturgy devised by volunteers, followed by refreshments and chat. People from many denominations (or none) attend, the aim being to discover new ways to worship and to enhance the use of this beautiful building. WorshipSpace began in January 1999.
