Youth Choir

The PYC, as this quite new choir is generally called, sings once a month usually on the 4th Sunday at St Mary’s Church in Quarry Street. It comprises young people (mainly girls at the moment) between the ages of 6 & 15 years.

We rehearse on the Saturday eight days before the service at 9.45am and also on the morning of the service at 10am. We then fortify ourselves with drinks and biscuits before singing at the service at 11.15.

We try to include a variety of different types of music in the services and there are also opportunities for members to play musical instruments. At present we have 16 members and we would be very glad to welcome any newcomers.
