Welcome to this Parish. As you view this website we hope that you will come to know more about the people and lively activity of this parish. There are many opportunities here for you to help, contribute, learn, explore and participate. By offering you this information as clearly as we can, we trust that you will feel welcomed and be able to take the next step yourself. Being alongside others is an excellent way of being nourished and valued yourself.
In John’s Gospel we read of the story of the woman at the well. It is Jesus who is in need – he’s the thirsty one. The woman is the one who can help and serve. Yet as she does this she finds new ways of coming close to God through Jesus and, most importantly, she finds that she is known, accepted and loved in the deepest possible way.
We hope that the pattern of this story can be repeated for each of us here in this Parish. Through our ordinary time together, we pray that we will draw close to each other and to God, and so come to know more clearly God’s boundless love for us.
